I recently had some masonry brick work done around my home by a gentleman named
Ed Rombeiro. He is well known to me in several ways. He is the father of one of
our prominent residents here in our complex (Kathy Rombeiro). Ed is also the man
who sponsors the famous "CHRISTMAS HOUSE" in Novato, CA.
Many have been to that home at Christmas time and have marveled at the exquisite
old world craftsmanship that goes into the Christmas home and winter wonderland
that this man, along with Kathy and their family put on each year. Dec. 2011 was their
20th Anniversary of the Christmas home.
Anyway, Ed is also a year round excellent highly skilled "Handyman". He is truly a
Jack of All Trades (and master of quite a few). I personally worked with him for a
brief time and I can attest to his insistence on excellence in his work. He has been
contracted to work on multi-million dollar homes here in the San Francisco Bay Area
with some regularity. Ed has a reputation that precedes him all over the region.

His rates are in the $45 an hour range but can adjust dependent on the job and your
discussions directly with him. You should know that there are others out there
charging a good deal more who can't hold a candle to the work he performs.
He does all kinds of work including floors, cabinetry, landscaping, decks, fencing,
electrical, plumbing, sheet rock, counter tops, windows, painting, pretty much you
name it and he does it and does it right. Ed stands behind his work and is not
